Arrive early in Entebbe, where you will be picked up and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey from Kampala to the park takes approximately 7-8 hours, providing a comfortable ride with scenic views.
You will stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs and a water experiment, followed by a lunch break in Mbarara town. Afterward, continue directly to the park, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation at a comfortable mid-range lodge.
After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive. Expect to see Ugandan kobs, lions, leopards, and the impressive giant forest hog, among other wildlife.
In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at your mid-range accommodation while observing wildlife visiting the lodge grounds. Later, take a two-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. During the cruise, you may witness African Fish Eagles hunting, along with numerous herons, egrets, and large groups of hippos. Be prepared for the possibility of capturing exciting action shots as hippo bulls defend their territories.
After a hearty breakfast, check out of the lodge and head through the Ishasha sector to view the famous tree-climbing lions. Continue your journey back to Kampala, stopping at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for photographs and to experience the local water experiment demonstrating the division of the Earth into northern and southern hemispheres. Enjoy lunch along the way before proceeding to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your departure.
